Close view of large quartz and feldspar crystals in Patagonia Granite

Brazilian natural stone

Patagonia, naturally composed.

A pegmatitic granite built from oversized mineral crystals, deep contrast and occasional translucency—selected one slab at a time.

The material

Scale you cannot reduce to a sample.

Patagonia is a dramatic example of pegmatitic granite, a natural stone distinguished by unusually large mineral crystals. Individual slabs can move from ivory and champagne to rose, charcoal, silver or gold. The exact face—not the trade name alone—should drive the purchase.

Its quartz-rich areas may transmit light, while feldspar and dark mineral fragments create graphic contrast. For this reason, slabs should be photographed straight-on, examined close-up and, when relevant, tested with the intended backlighting system.

Design with the actual slab

Let the mineral field set the composition.

For large-format walls, islands and reception counters, the most valuable detail is often placement. A scaled dry layout lets designers choose what stays uninterrupted, where seams disappear and how the strongest crystal field turns a corner.
